Setting Award Travel Goals

Track your progress toward award flights and hotel stays.

   Navigate to the Goals page

   From the sidebar, click Goals to see your award travel targets. Goals help you stay motivated by showing exactly how close you are to your next redemption.

   Click "Add Goal"

   Click the Add Goalbutton to open the goal entry form. You can create as many goals as you like — one for each award you're working toward.

   Enter goal details

   Give your goal a descriptive name (e.g., "Business class to Tokyo"), select the points program the award will come from, and enter the target points required for the redemption.

   Set a CPP value and estimated cash price (optional)

   Optionally enter a CPP value and estimated cash price for the award. Altitude uses these to show you the estimated dollar value of the redemption alongside the points cost — helping you see whether the award is worth it compared to paying cash.

   Set a target date (optional)

   Optionally set a target date if you have a specific trip planned. Altitude will use this to calculate whether your current earn rate will get you to the goal in time, adding urgency context to your progress.

   Track your progress automatically

   After saving, Altitude calculates your current balance in that program, the gap to your target, and the estimated number of months to reach your goal based on your trailing earn rate. As you add more transactions, the projection updates automatically.
